You know your child is capable but are they meeting their potential?
My Approach to Education:
My name is Rhodri Lewis, and I qualified as an Outstanding teacher in 2010 and have since held a range of roles, including Head of Year, Head of House, Head of English, and Assistant Principal. I have also been invited to lecture on the PGCE course at The University of Buckingham. Across both state and independent sectors, I have consistently secured positive Progress 8 outcomes, with pupils achieving beyond their predicted grades.
My approach is built on a simple principle: children achieve their best when they feel confident, supported, and genuinely enjoy learning. From there, I create energetic, purposeful lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and challenging themselves without fear of getting things wrong. When pupils feel valued and encouraged, their confidence grows — and so does their academic success.
English is one of the most important subjects a child will study. Whether a student goes on to college, university, an apprenticeship, or a professional career, the ability to read critically, communicate clearly, and express ideas with confidence is essential to their future success.
For nearly two decades, I have guided students to exceed expectations and discover confidence in their abilities. I would like the opportunity to support your child in doing the same — helping them not just succeed but truly thrive.
